London is set in the splendour of autumn colours and it’s time to enjoy this romantic season with the swaying beauty of Kew Gardens. The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is popularly known as Kew Gardens and is an internationally important botanical research and education institution.

It is home to over 30,000 different types of plants and has one of the world’s largest Herbariums with over seven million preserved specimens. The Xstrata walkway at Kew Gardens is the perfect way to relish the utter blend of hues of Autumn. This Treetop Walkway was opened in 2008 and is 18 metres high and 200 metres long. It is accessible to the public via a staircase consisting of 118 steps.

You can see a wide range of birds, insects, lichen, fungi and sculptures carved from tree trunks. The Kew Palace, Palm House Parterre in the Summer, Blossoms Outside the Temperate House, Eastern Cape giant Cycad in the Palm House, Palm House at Sunset, Pagoda, Daffodils along the Broadwalk, Temperate House, Davies Alpine House, Princess of Wales Conservatory, Bluebells near Queen Charlotte Cottage, Turner’s Oak, the Sackler Crossing in autumn and many more are the attractions of this Royal Botanic Gardens.

It is open daily from 9:30 am and the closing timings vary according to seasons. The Orangery, Victoria Plaza cafe, The Pavilion, White Peaks Cafe and many more restaurants, cafes and shops are available at the Kew Gardens.
